The first Corner display focuses on new works in the collection. They represent different corners of the museum’s overall collection, spanning 100 years of Danish art. For example, you can explore Golden Age sketches by Martinus Rørby and J.Th. Lundbye and large-scale paintings of modern subject matter from around the turn of the century by Viggo Johansen and Erik Henningsen. All the works have been donated to or acquired by the museum in 2015–2016 and have never been exhibited before.
