March 28th – October 4th 2015.
Join our park walks if you need a little peace in the great outdoors and want to know more about the history and attractions of the parks and the museum district.
Admission is free. Just show up under Parkmuseerne’s green banner in front of the National Gallery of Denmark.
Please note that all walks are conducted in Danish.
We have three different themes on our program:
– The Royal Walk (Kongevandring), when we retrace the footsteps of Christian IV and the other Danish kings and queens who have left their mark on the museum district.
– The Sculpture Walk (Skulpturvandring), when we focus on the parks’ sculptures, monuments, and decorative features.
– The Flower Walk (Blomstervandring), when we introduce you to the flora of the royal King’s Garden and the pastoral landscape of Østre Anlæg Park.
