Enter the castle where some of Denmark’s most colourful kings and queens have lived – and today houses the Crown Jewels.
Rosenborg Castle is a beautiful historic building and a fascinating museum of cultural history. Located in the King’s Gardens it houses some of Denmark’s greatest treasures, not least the Crown Jewels and the Danish Crown Regalia. Among the main attractions of Rosenborg is the Long Hall with the coronation throne with three silver lions standing guard. And beneath the castle, the three treasuries with the Crowns and the Crown Jewels.
