Parkmuseerne is Copenhagen’s green museum district. Here, unique experiences await you, combining nature, culture and art at six prominent museums located in three beautiful parks in the heart of the city.

Experiences in a League of Their Own

At Parkmuseerne, you can come face to face with glittering crown jewels, peculiar monkeys and rare plants. And you may also explore impressive art, interiors created by proud workers as well as displays of royal wealth.

The six museums are the Workers Museum, the David Collection, the Hirschsprung Collection, Rosenborg Castle, SMK – National Gallery of Denmark and the Natural History Museum Denmark.

All six museums are located in and around three historical parks and gardens in the very centre of Copenhagen: the King’s Garden, the Botanical Garden and the Østre Anlæg park.

You save 50% on admission fees with a Parkmuseerne ticket, which gives you access to one visit at each of the museums and in the Palm House in the Botanical Garden.

Note: When visiting Rosenborg Castle, please remember to book a time slot ticket apart from your admission ticket as the castle can only accommodate a certain number of guests at the same time for security reasons.

Information about Mondays
Please note that the following museums are closed on Mondays:

  • The David Collection

  • The Hirschsprung Collection

  • SMK – National Gallery of Denmark

Rosenborg Castle is closed on Mondays from 2 November to 23 December.

Natural History Museum Denmark is closed on Mondays from 1 September to 31 May.
